How to Use Black Chalk Paint® Wax 

1. Paint the Surface

• Start by painting your furniture or wall with Chalk Paint® and let it dry completely.

2. Apply Clear Wax

• Apply a thin coat of Clear Chalk Paint® Wax to seal the paint.

• Wipe off any excess wax using a clean cloth.

3. Apply Black Wax

• Rub Black Chalk Paint® Wax into the surface, working it into brush marks, textures, and crevices to highlight details.

4. Wipe Back Excess Black Wax

• Use Clear Wax to wipe back and blend any areas where the black wax looks too heavy.

• Make sure you’ve waxed every part of the piece at least once.

5. Apply a Second Coat (Optional)

• Let the first coat dry until it feels touch-dry (about 1 hour, depending on thickness and room conditions).

• If needed, apply a second coat for a deeper finish.

🧼 Aftercare

• Wipe the surface with a damp cloth to clean.

• For tough marks, use a spray cleaner, then rewax the affected area.

⚠️ Important Tips

• Don’t use the wax outdoors.
  For exterior pieces, apply Chalk Paint® Lacquer instead.
